![]() It commands John to kill, and it sets him up to be killed, but it also sets the tone of the movie. ![]() That wicked authority is called the High Table it dispenses orders to kill on pain of being killed, ratifies contracts for murder, and brokers the deals for bounty hunters. The premise of Wickworld is cleverly paranoiac, built around the tentacular connections between the crude underworld of contract killers and the shadowy overlords who keep them in action. One of the curiosities of the John Wick series is that, as an entirely original creation dependent on no prior properties, it has nonetheless given rise to an alluring and self-perpetuating mythology of its own. ![]() The details are too good to give away, but there’s no harm and much pleasure in considering how the movie climbs, slowly but surely, to that light-headed summit. But something happens, fairly late in the game, that converts the film’s merely technical displays of bloody murder into something suspenseful and romantic, if no less silly. The new film (which opens Friday) has many of the same problems as its predecessors although these problems are interesting, they’re far more fun to contemplate in the rearview mirror of thought than in the real-time forward motion of viewing. Not exactly what I want on my paper price wise but I do feel that the design is much more attractive then the S for someone who wants a sporty car. But then I read about the Rimac and saw it. I originally thought oh better throw in a Tesla just to put one in and the plaid s had a high acceleration so I thought that would be attractive. I didn't feel any different, but it was a VERY low dose the doctor started me on. I've been taking Adderall for 1month now. It wasn't until I found ND Tik Tok and YouTube that things came together and I started to understand why certain things are just so dang difficult for me. I either didn't know they were not "typical" or learned to work around it or mask it early on. They listened to what I had to say, and agreed I had done an excellent job of self diagnosis, especially since I told them these things had been that way my entire life. I've spend who knows how long researching ADHD, what diagnosis was like in the early 90s, how it affects the day to day lives of adults, how those adults cope with it, etc. I finally worked up the courage to talk to my doctor about all the reasons I believe I have ADHD.
